2000 SOPA Awards for Editorial Excellence

Time Inc. Asia nearly swept the board at the 2nd annual SOPA awards for editorial excellence on Thursday night, winning six categories.

The awards--recognising excellence in the region's publications for categories ranging from feature writing, photography and design--were judged by a distinguished panel of editors from publications including The Economist, The Financial Times, The Nation (Thailand), BusinessWeek, Asiaweek, Ming Pao, CFO Asia and the Far Eastern Economic Review.

The ceremony was held at the JW Marriott Hotel.
