To sign up for the SATs or the ACT, pick up a registration booklet at your high school or call the Educational Testing Service, which administers the SATs, at 609-921-9000. Call the ACT at 319-337-1000. You can register for the SAT online at collegeboard.com and for the act at act.org.

The fee for the SAT is $25.00 and $24.00 for the ACT ($27.00 for Florida residents). In hardship cases, this fee may be waived. To apply for a waiver, pick up a fee-waiver card at your school's counseling office, then send it in with your registration form.
