Anthony Suau was born in the United States in 1956 and has lived in Europe since 1987. He has been the recipient of the Pulitzer Prize in 1984, the Robert Capa Gold Medal in 1995 and was awarded the World Press Photo of the year in 1988. He has been a TIME magazine contract photographer since 1991.
