MICHAEL JORDAN (1963- )
A man many consider to be the greatest athlete of the 20th Century, Michael Jordan is regarded as one of the most competitive and clutch sportsmen of all-time. He's certainly the wealthiest. When he's not collecting NBA championship rings (he won six from 1991 through 1998), he's collecting checks from his multitude of endorsements ranging from Nike to McDonald's to his own steakhouses. Jordan ushered in the era of the athlete as a business.
