Christopher Leinberger is a land use strategist, developer and author. He is a founding partner of Arcadia Land Company, a new urbanism development company. His partners are Joseph Duckworth, who has operated two Builder 100 homebuilding companies, and Robert Davis, the developer of the pioneering community, Seaside, Florida. The firm has development projects in Independence (Missouri), Chester County (Pennsylvania), Montgomery County (Pennsylvania), Albuquerque (New Mexico), in addition to Seaside.

Mr. Leinberger is primarily focused on the redevelopment of downtown Albuquerque in his role as managing partner of the Historic District Improvement Company. He is also a managing director of Robert Charles Lesser & Co., the country's largest independent real estate advisory firm. His work focuses on corporate strategic planning for real estate companies, metropolitan development trends and strategic planning for downtowns.

He has written a number of books as well as articles for The Atlantic Monthly, Wall Street Journal and Urban Land, among others. He is currently serving on the Planned Growth Strategy Implementation Task Force and is the chairman of the Executive Committee for the Tri-Centennial Commission in Albuquerque. He teaches at the University of New Mexico School in the School of Architecture and Planning.

Mr. Leinberger received a bachelor of arts degree from Swarthmore College, where he majored in political science and sociology. He received an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
