President TIME Magazine Eileen Naughton is president of TIME, the flagship magazine of Time Inc. and the world's largest news magazine, with a worldwide circulation of 5.4 million and an audience of 31 million readers. Ms. Naughton manages TIME's global publishing operations, including brand management, business development, circulation and ad sales. She also oversees the TIME For Kids Media Group, TIME.com and LIFE 's book and magazine businesses. Previously, Ms. Naughton served as vice president of investor relations for AOL Time Warner, from August 2000 to January 2002. In 1999, Ms. Naughton served as president of Time Inc. Interactive, where she led the evolution of online strategies for Time Inc.'s core brands. Ms. Naughton began her career at Time Inc. in 1989, and was general manager of Fortune from 1993 to 1997. She served as vice president and director of finance at Time Inc. from 1997 to 1999. Ms. Naughton serves on the board of directors for Volunteers of America of New York. She is a board member of FRAXA, the Fragile X Research Foundation, dedicated to funding research aimed at treatment for Fragile X Syndrome. Ms. Naughton has been active in fundraising efforts for NYC public schools heavily impacted by September 11th. She also contributes her support and aid to a number of community outreach programs, in conjunction with the New York City Mission Society, which enjoys a long-standing relationship with TIME. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Ms. Naughton received an M.B.A. degree from The Wharton School and an M.A. degree from the Lauder Institute of International Studies. She received her B.A. in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979.
