"A Broken Wing"

So Jordin doesn't pick I (Who Have Nothing) for her favorite performance, and props to her for not going to that well once again. In retrospect, the Martina McBride song makes perfect sense. Jordin has a little bit of a yodel-y, country thing in her voice, and after she finishes wringing this song out, there's not a drop of pathos left in it. This is the kind of heart-ripped-out, glory-note-filled, mouth-open-so-you-can-see-the-molars performance that wins American Idol.
