Everybody in the room seemed to be pulling for a big close, and Flea jumping around in a youth soccer outfit would seem a good augur. But Anthony Kiedis (also rocking the vest with bare arms—please let this not become a trend) just doesn't have the pipes to bring a house down. John Frusciante's guitar playing was terrific and precise, but overall a bit of a letdown.
