Mary J. Blige
Be Without You
Grade: B+

Blige always seems just a few seconds away from going totally bananas—it's her principal charm. Her vocal was typically all over the place, but from the overwrought spoken word intro to the Shewolf, scrape-my-vocal-cords cry at the end, Blige held nothing back. Better as television than as music, but very entertaining television.
