Wonderful World
by Sam Cooke

Cooke toned down his liquid charm to better suit the schoolboy lyrics he wrote with Lou Adler and Herb Alpert, and the result is a classic fusion of innocence and seduction. That's Lou Rawls (among others) doing the basso profundo recitation of subjects ("history... biology") in the verses, but it's Cooke alone who makes this trifle so indelible.
