BlackPlanet.com, a social networking site for African Americans, has 15 million members and a personals section, BlackPlanetLove, to which many members belong. The structure of BlackPlanetLove isn't particularly innovative for a personals site, but then neither is Yahoo Personals or Match.com However, BlackPlanetLove does organize meet-up events, including a Valentine's Day Mixer in New York City.
