Since 1982, photojournalist Mark Peterson has told myriad stories of American life,
from a portrait of an Alabama chain gang and a close-up of the pro-life movement to reporting from the 1996 presidential campaign trail.
In his native Minneapolis, he developed a bond with the residents of the Queens nursing home, leading to the
work that appears in "Last Call." He is working with students at Sobriety High, a high
school for chemically dependent and alcoholic teens in Minneapolis.
His photographs have appeared in TIME, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, New York, Paris Match, Stern, and other
publications.
