T-ZINE: The online version of Travel in Taiwan magazine posts stories from its pages only through 1997, but many are still timely for Taipei-bound visitors. Articles cover such topics as local vegetarian restaurants, traditional tea ceremonies, dive sites within two hours of the city and the t'ai chi classes that have been held at the Grand Hotel since 1949. The "Information for Visitors" section is a useful directory of phone numbers (airlines, hotels, restaurants) and provides pertinent details on banking, tipping, telephone use and other concerns of tourists.
