Methodology
Questionnaires for this survey were inserted in the Asia editions of TIME Magazine (April 15, 22, 29 and May 13, 27). Readers were given the options of responding online (a dedicated URL was set up) or via a toll-free fax number. Results of the survey were tabulated from the qualified entries received before June 28, 2002. Incentives for completed questionnaires consisted of three draw prizes which were three Sony DSC-P71 digital cameras. At the close of the survey, a total of 3,411 responses were analyzed from the qualified entries of which more than half (57%) were from online responses.
