10:00 AM: Customs inspectors gather around the VACIS gamma ray machine on the World Trade Bridge that connects Laredo, Texas, with Neuvo Laredo, Mexico. Customs officials use the machine to look inside the trailers crossing the bridge much the way security uses x-ray machines at the airport.
