DIANA DRESS: BIG BUCKS
An anonymous buyer has paid $200,000 for a black velvet gown that Princess Diana wore to the London opening of "Les Miserables" in 1985. The winning bid at Monday's charity auction in Boston was placed over the phone by a buyer from Florida. Barbara Jordan, a philanthropist and owner of a Boston boutique, bought the gown in May for $36,000 at an auction of Diana's dresses at Christie's in New York. She then donated the dress to Community Servings, a local charity that provides meals for people with AIDS.
