Playing With Handguns: Sarah Young, 69, mother of five and grandmother of 12, says her life was changed forever on Dec. 3, 1974. Her youngest son, Chris, then 14, was playing with guns at another boy's house when the boy pointed a .22-cal. pistol at Chris and said, "I'm going to shoot you." And he did. The bullet destroyed Chris' spleen, but he recovered and today is a 39-year-old father of two. Speaking of guns, Chris says, "As a parent, you start to think about these things differently."
