Letter From the Editor

Many thanks to the thousands of kind subscribers who sent me sympathy e-mail. But I would hardly call my simple procedure an "operation" — those brain technicians just swept the plaque right out of my hippocampus! I have a minor itch from the cable incision, but otherwise my so-called Alzheimer's is just a bad memory. It felt like broadband coming in all over again!

Today, nothing that is human goes untouched by the Digital Imperative, so the whole world has become my magazine's sandbox. Political scandal, product reviews, mind-boggling innovations in wetware and software — everything that makes modern life in 2026 so delightful. I must be the happiest baby boomer in publishing! At 75, I'm finally reaching New Age enlightenment and my full Aquarian potential.

Growthfully
(and very gratefully),
Rubin Gelcrest, editor, Time Digital
