Jan. 9, 2003: Even at -27°C, Moscow's massive Dolgoprudny garbage dump reeks. Nobody knows how many live around the mountain, though 50 is a reasonable guess. They scavenge wood, metal or glass to sell and food to eat. They live in hovels scattered throughout the surrounding woods. |
