Peter Gumbel won Magazine Journalist of the Year at the Workworld Media Awards.

TIME EMEA was short listed in the Association of Photographers Awards.

TIME Europe won 2 Henry R. Luce Awards. The first award was for Cover of the Year, for the September 13 cover of the terrorist attack on School No. 1 in Beslan, Russia. The second was the Deadline Award, which TIME Europe won for not one but two cover stories on terrorism — March 22, the bombing of four commuter trains in Madrid, and September 13, the hostage-taking and siege at the Beslan school.

TIME Europe was runner up at the Netimperative Digital Media Awards in the Best Media Owner category.

Peter Gumbel was short listed for the Business Journalist of the Year Awards.

TIME was a runner up in the Press Award category at the 2005 One World Media Awards, after receiving two nominations. Simon Robinson received a special mention from the judges for his reporting in Sudan.

TIME was a runner up at the Press Gazette Magazine Design Awards after being short listed in the Mass Market Consumer Front Cover of the Year category, for 'Slaughter of the Innocents', September 13 2004 issue.

Jef McAllister was a runner up in the Story of the Year by a Foreign Correspondent Based in the UK category at the Foreign Press Association Media Awards.
