A harsh climate compounds the misery in southern Africa
A harvest of dust has replaced of a field of ripe sorgum. Farmers in southern Africa are now being forced to eat next year's planting seed just to survive. Now not only will they soon run out of food but they will have no means of farming in the future unless aid donations include planting seed.
