A harsh climate compounds the misery in southern Africa
One of the lucky recipients of American-grown corn donated by the UN's World Food Program leaves a distribution center run by Zambia-based NGO Harvest Help. These monthly handouts are all that stand between some Africans and starvation, but as the drought continues and the region's other problems mount, more and more people will need such hand-outs.
