Under Glass at the Darwin Center
London's Natural History Museum unveils some grizzly but fascinating specimens
OFF THE SHELF:
Just some of the 450,000 display jars on show at the London natural history Museum's new Darwin Center. More than 27 kilometres of shelves over seven floors wil be home to some of the museum's most unusual specimens in a move to get them out of its basement. Most have never been on public display before. Phase two will house millions of insect specimens and provide workspce for the Natural History Museum's entemologists.
