11 July 2001: A Bosnian woman kisses a marker stone for a memorial and cemetery for between 7,000 and 8,000 Bosnian Muslims killed by Serb forces who overran the UN-proclaimed safe zone. Some 3,500 Muslims from all over Bosnia arrived in Potocari, just north of Srebrenica, for ceremonies marking the sixth anniversary of the massacre. |
