July 12, 2001: Nevenka Ostojic, the mother of a Bosnian Serb, weeps as she touches the name of her son Milorad, killed by Bosnian Muslims from Srebrenica, during a memorial service in the Serb village of Kravice, some 16 kilometers (10 miles) west of Srebrenica. Two thousand Bosnian Serbs from eastern Bosnia laid a cornerstone for a memorial to over 3,500 of their soldiers and civilians killed during the 1992-95 war. |
