Kio Towers: One of the modern symbols of Madrid, the twin KIO Towers (Kuwaiti Investment Office) at the Plaza de Castilla are also known as Puerta de Europa (Gateway to Europe). The 26-floor 114m high buildings were completed in 1996 as the entrance to Madrid's business district. The lean is intentional.
