Photographer Eric Bouvet goes on patrol with Russia's information and infiltration commandos

In 1995, photographer Eric Bouvet traveled in Chechnya with a specialized unit of the Russian army, the information and infiltration commandos. Five years later, he succeeded in contacting the commander of that unit, now returned to civilian life. All the other men in that unit were dead, had gone crazy or have disappeared.
This year, Bouvet got the opportunty to travel for a week with another Russian platoon, something not even members of the Russian press have been allowed to do.
The platoon was split up into three units of 10 soldiers and 2 officers each. Their mission: to take a 595-m high hill in order to observe enemy movements
