Joseph and Egypt

Jacob has 12 sons, 10 from Leah and Joseph and Benjamin from Rachel. Jacob favors Joseph and gives him a multicolor robe as a display of his affection. Joseph's brothers grow jealous and sell him into slavery. Joseph emerges in Egypt and rises to power after he correctly interprets Pharaoh's dreams. Joseph is reunited with his brothers and father when they are forced by a famine to migrate to Egypt. Jacob and Joseph die and God prophesizes the exodus from Egypt back to the land of Abraham.
