Q&A Chloe Sevigny
Would you like to be in a big studio movie? I would love to. I've never been in a film that was released in every mall across America.
In Melinda you play a nice girl from Connecticut. Is that you? I like to think that I'm a nice girl, but I was very angry growing up in Darien [Conn.]. The girls were very nasty. It was like, "Your dad drives a Hondayou're poor. My dad drives a BMW."
What was working with Woody like? It wasn't the most artistic experience I've had. It was all business.
You're something of a style icon. Any fashion regrets? Turtlenecks under sundresses. You've taken some heat for a very explicit scene in The Brown Bunny. Would you do it again? Probably, yes. I like to take risks in my career and try different things. How do you see yourself in Hollywood? I still see myself as on the fringe. Whenever I go to a Hollywood party, I feel like it's some sort of a secret club I haven't been invited to yet.
