DID JOHN TRAVOLTA EVER TRY TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT SCIENTOLOGY?
No. I had a meeting with him once. He wanted to know what Be Cool [the sequel to Get Shorty] was about. I said I didn't know yet. So after I finished the book, I kept asking my agent if Travolta had read it, and finally my agent said, "You call him." So after I got his number and he called back after about four days, I said, "Did you read it yet?" He said, "No, but hey, I just bought a 707." So then we had to talk about the plane, you know?
DO YOU GET TO HANG OUT WITH ANY A-LIST ACTRESSES IN HOLLYWOOD?
Yeah. Sure. If they're over 70.
