Madonna's Rocky Ride
The Lady of the Manor persona she has assumed since marrying British director Guy Ritchie has had its ups and downs for MADONNA. After recently starting riding lessons, she took a nasty tumble off an unfamiliar horse on Aug. 16, cracking three ribs and breaking a collarbone and a hand. Now recuperating at her country home outside London, plucky Madge still plans to release her new album, Confessions on a Dancefloor, on schedule in November, but she just may have to stick to low-impact clubbing for a while.
