In the NBC series Tommy Lee Goes to College, the Mötley Crüe drummer heads for the University of Nebraska, gets a hot chemistry tutor and tries out for the band. But he's not the only college-bound celeb:
RICHARD DREYFUSS says he's going to Oxford to study "the biography of the idea of democracy. It's a Dickensian tale of a fragile birth, a vulnerable childhood, a fight for life ..." Sounds like quite an opus.
PARIS HILTON plays a South Beach University sorority president in National Lampoon's Pledge This! (out Nov. 4). A word to the thousands of frat boys out there hoping to transfer: South Beach U. is fictional.
As part of HANSON'S Live and Electric Tour '05, the one-hit wonders will visit colleges to lecture on the music business and "their quest to succeed outside the mainstream." Will there be an Mmm-pop quiz?
