Making The Guest List
Evite.com, the party-planning site that lets people create and e-mail invitations, is making it easier to get invited to parties and also to learn more about the other potential guests. New "public" parties are available to anyone in a geographical area, based on ZIP code. And each guest can create a profile which may include a photo and a list of hobbies, favorite restaurants and local hangouts for all to see. Invitees can then e-mail each other.
