If you're one of those people who like to tinker constantly with home décor, you'll love MagScapes (magscapes.com) — the world's first magnetic wallpaper. Created by London-based design house Pepper-mint, it's as light and flexible as standard wallpaper, but the difference lies in magnetic motifs that can be attached and moved around at will, giving you the freedom to customize basic designs.

There are three ranges available — DiscScape (colored discs on plain backing, resembling one of avant-garde artist Damien Hirst's famous "spot paintings"), LilyScape (whimsical frog motifs, good for a kid's room) and MetroScape (which lets you fix things like miniature saxophones andmartini glasses to a Mondrian-style backing of plain and colored rectangles).

The only drawback is the price: at about $115 per roll, and $88 for a set of magnets, you may opt not to use this throughout the house. But it's ideal for single walls or smaller rooms, and it will keep the interior designer in you endlessly entertained.
