CARS: Old World Elegance
NOT CONTENT with selling the latest model off the assembly line, Mercedes-Benz has opened its own vintage shop in Irvine, Calif. Catering to automotive aficionados who dream of buying the perfect "classic" ride right off the lot, the Classic Center is the first of its kind in the U.S. (There is one in Fellbach, Germany.) In addition to Mercedes models 20 years and older, the center will provide customers with factory parts and restoration services. Prices start at $25,000.
