Putting Nicotine In A Bottle
Smoking is banned in many bars, but a new product will allow smokers to drink their nicotine fix. NICOWater, according to its manufacturer, is designed for "adult smokers who suffer from the symptoms of tobacco cravings." Quick Test 5, the company that makes NICOWater, initially marketed it as a dietary supplement but came under fire from antitobacco organizations. The product is now sold as a homeopathic drug. A coalition of public-health groups has petitioned the FDA to pull the product from the market. The FDA says, "No action has yet been taken."
