Beyond Nurses' Whites
You rarely see traditional white nurses' uniforms these days except on Halloween. Doctors and nurses all wear the same scrubs, making it hard for patients to tell one from the other. The editors at the American Journal of Nursing have offered a solution: a square red-and-white patch that says simply: RN. It's available for purchase and is being tested at the University of Pennsylvania.
