Guy Ritchie, read up. The kin of icons will find a handy parenting primer in Vogue's upcoming age issue, as three generations of Presley women strut their genetic blessings. (The money ain't bad either.) LISA MARIE PRESLEY, 36, center, boasts that her daughter RILEY, 15, a model, has survived relatively unscathed the limelight that comes with being Elvis' granddaughter. "She's not a bimbo! She's not one of the Hollywood pretentious kids. She's not shallow," says Lisa Marie of Riley. "There are certain very affected Hollywood-celebrity kids that I never was raised as." And PRISCILLA, 59, is one all-right grandmama too.

Forget Spock. WILLIAM SHATNER'S new wing man is...Ben Folds? The Priceline.com pitchman has teamed with the piano-pounding rocker on a pop album due in October. Shatner's first record, a 1968 spoken-word effort that became an icon of classic camp, earned him Folds' respect and a duet on the hipster's 1998 album. Now cerebral crooners like Aimee Mann and Henry Rollins will pitch in on Shatner's CD. "Ben told me to tell the truth," says Shatner, who wrote most of the lyrics. "I hope it's musically valid." The record's title does suggest a refreshing honesty it's called Has Been.
Summer's Latter-Day Stars
Move over, Kabbalah, there's a new sect in show biz. As JON HEDER, who plays a geeky Idahoan in the teen sleeper Napoleon Dynamite, explains, "Dude, it's cool to be Mormon." Heder and Dynamite's writer-director, Jared Hess, are members of the Mormon church, as are most of the film's cast and crew. RYAN GOSLING, the brooding heartthrob in the summer weepy The Notebook, grew up Mormon in Canada. But the toast (nonalcoholic) of Salt Lake City this July has to be Jeopardy! mega-champ KEN JENNINGS, who had won a record $920,960 by the end of last week. Jennings plans to donate 10% of his jackpot to the Mormon church. That's one mission accomplished.
