I think that at this point, it has become so politicized that he would be criticized more for going than not going. It's a shame that it's gotten down to that, because normally I would give you an answer, "Everybody should be able to go every place." I will visit ground zero next on Sept. 11, when I will be part of the annual ceremonies remembering 2,800 people who died.
YOU BUILT YOUR CAREER IN BUSINESS. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO A POLITICAL CONVENTION BEFORE?
No, I've never been. It will be fun. This will be the only political convention I'll ever speak at. Although, actually, it might not be. Assuming I get re-elected, I will try very hard to get both Republican and Democratic conventions in four years. So maybe I'll have another chance.
