Sport: Canadian Women's

Unless there are Mexican and Alaskan tournaments, Glenna Collett of Providence is women's golf champion of North America. The little national champion crossed over into Canada with seven other American women, mixed with Britishers and Canadians, whirled through the lot to the Canadian women's open title. Gavin of England, defending titleholder, met her at the last, but Glenna received congratulations on the 34th green.
