Armaments
Chancellor Marx notified the Allies that Germany would permit a resumption of their military control,* but he scouted the idea that any German even toyed with the idea of war.
The Chancellor made three reservations:
1) No control for a month, in order to let public ire subside.
2) Control to begin with inspection of factories.
3) General inventory of armaments to be compiled at latest possible date.
* Military control was dropped last year when France entered the Ruhr.
