At the Racquet Club of Philadelphia, Clarence C. Pell and Stanley G. Mortimer, Manhattan racqueters, won the U. S. racquets doubles championship for the ninth straight year. They defeated Jay Gould (for 19 years U. S. singles court tennis champion) and Stanley W. Pearson of Philadelphia, 15—5, 15—8, 3—15, 7—15, 15—2.
