Cinema: Youth & Morals
Thirty days after studying a book, children remember only 30% of what they could recall the next morning. Three months after seeing a cinema they remember 90% of what they were able to describe the morning after.
The number of U. S. minors who attend the cinema every week is 28,000,000. Of these 11,000,000 are under 14.
Displays of sex are most disturbing to cinemaddicts aged 16. Cinemas excite children three times more than adults. Delinquent girls believe the cinema has been a contributory factor to their misfortunes.
