¶Completed action on House amendments and sent to the President for signing the Frazier-Lemke Bill extending the Farm Mortgage Moratorium Act of 1935 for two more years.
¶Passed and sent to Conference the $250,000,000 Deficiency Relief Bill.
¶Approved a joint resolution providing $2,000,000 to fight grasshoppers in western States.
The House:
¶To Congress the President dispatched a report of the Advisory Committee on Education recommending an $855,000,000 Federal appropriation for public schools.
