> A hot-water bag equipped with projecting fins to prevent burns.

> An air-inflated, shock-absorbing boxing glove.

>A spoon with a knife edge on the handle for opening eggs.

> A fan with rotary blades, to be held in the hand and operated by opening & closing the fingers.

> A fan which can be geared to a sewing machine to keep the operator cool. > A motor which can be geared to the steering wheel of an automobile, to help the driver turn the wheel when parking.

> A sponge-rubber shock absorber to be placed at the bottom of brass poles down which firemen slide.

> Skis with herringbone grooves on their bottoms to prevent sliding backward.

> A camera to be placed in the nose of an airplane, for photographing the terrain just before a crash.

> An umbrella which can be strapped to the head, leaving both hands free.

> An electrical system for shocking an automobile driver when he drives too fast.

> A soap-saving rubber jacket in which to enclose a cake of soap, exposing only one side of the cake.

> An automobile radio transmitter which warns police in the vicinity when the driver exceeds the speed limit.
