Other romanticists, including Robert W. Chambers in Secret Service Operative 13, earned fat sums from stories based on her life. In recent years her autobiography has been systematically attacked as a fabrication. But Author Sigaud decided to write this new biography of Belle Boyd because he found that her interesting memoirs squared at all points with military realities as he knows them.
