ONTARIO Landslide in Glengarry
Red-haired Dr. Richard Monohan scurried around Ontario's Glengarry riding, made dozens of speeches promising everyone "$100 a month when you are 55." Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King, running for election because he needed a seat in the House of Commons (TIME, July 2), did not bother to campaign at all. Last week Mr. King won. The score: 4,551 to 325.
