Between the barren spot of U.S. land called Little Diomede and the Russian island called Big Diomede lies 2% miles of Bering Strait and the International Dateline. From big, weather-worn Father Bernard R. Hubbard, the 61-year-old "Glacier Priest" whose Alaskan explorations are known around the world, came a postcard last week to Alaska Authoress Barrett (Spawn of the North) Willoughby.
