GOVERNMENT: Raise Your Hand

The Office of Price Stabilization last week solemnly accused the Pennsylvania Railroad of violating price ceilings and sued for $384,245 triple damages. The charge: the Pennsy, without raising its hand and asking teacher for permission, had doubled the price of admission to most of its station toilets from 5¢ to 10¢ and increased the charges for towel, soap and comb from 10¢ to 25¢.
