ARMY: Yoo-Hoo in Writing
From an Army truck near Camp Blanding, Fla., Private "Pop" Johnson tossed a note to any girl it might concern:
I'm just a soldier, lonesome and blue You write to me and I'll write to you.
Private Johnson got a reply next day:
I received this note, and since you're blue Here's two weeks K.P. cheer for you.
It was signed by Lieut. Colonel James A. Webb, commander of Private Johnson's outfit.
